Blog: Appreciating our Volunteers
At the Kottage, we are busy getting ready for one of our most exciting events of the year – Volunteer Appreciation! It’s our opportunity to come together to celebrate the invaluable support we receive from so many volunteers. They help at the Kottage, rocking babies to sleep or playing games, reading stories or helping with snack times. They help with organizing, cooking, cleaning, gardening and maintenance. They dress up as Easter Bunnies and Santa Clauses. They help out with administration, mail outs and filing. They help with every aspect of our fundraisers.
Kids Kottage could not function without all of the volunteers who help us keep Edmonton area children safe, and we are so, so grateful for each and every one of them.
This past year, volunteers completed 5120 hours of volunteer time – that’s a value of $119,101.75!
We currently have a few dynamic and key volunteer positions open and are looking for interested candidates, so if you’d like to get involved, we would love to hear from you.
